The 8th of March is the day women all across the globe celebrate, which is more like a reminder than a celebration. A reminder for men that equality needs to be established. Since 1910 women have remembered this day and wanted to remind the other half of the population, the men, that they need their rights. And this by itself is a proof that there has been an imbalance for the rights of women and hence their need for this reminder.

In the UAE, women have the capacity to accomplish many things. Different jobs should be sought by women and they need to realize their capabilities. Once women come to this realization and men in turn respect that, International Women’s Day has reached its goal.
